E-mail is everywhere
|
E-mail is now so common place that customers and suppliers expected businesses to have e-mail facilities.
Giving each member of staff their own e-mail address, such as sales@abc.co.uk or ian.jones@abc.co.uk, increases productivity by delivering to each person just those e-mails addressed to them. This saves each user having to sift through unwanted messages.
Not only is productivity increased, but having your own internal e-mail addresses ensures that private or sensitive e-mails are only opened by the intended recipient.

Spam
|
Unsolicited e-mail (known as spam or junk e-mail) is an ever-increasing nuisance.
Automatic filtering can be used to stop spam before it reaches your inbox. Systems are available to identify and automatically filter unsolicited e-mail. These filtered messages can either be automatically deleted, or saved to allow them to be checked before permanent deletion.
